The Clay Mathematics Institute of Cambridge, Massachusetts (CMI) named seven Prize Millenium Problems, which are the most important unsolved mathematical problems. One of these is “Existence & Smoothness of the Navier-Stokes Equations”.
Dan Socolescu has worked at this subject.
